Criminal costs: following an unsuccessful application for leave to prefer a voluntary bill of indictment under which the High Court had no power to make a costs order under the criminal regime (except in the Divisional Court), there was no residual power under s 51 of the Senior Courts Act 1981 to make such an order under the civil regime.
